About
The Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator is a hard-tech accelerator in Knoxville, Tennessee. It runs with the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Tennessee Valley Authority and the University of Tennessee. It backs 10 early-stage startups per cohort in fields such as advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, quantum information, biotechnology and clean energy. Companies receive up to 120,000 dollars plus a 13-week mentorship programme.
