SOS Ventures, now operating as SOSV, is a deep-tech venture firm with more than 1,000 portfolio companies and around $1.5bn under management. It runs the hard-tech programme HAX, which makes pre-seed and seed investments in robotics, automation and industrial decarbonisation, alongside the life-sciences programme IndieBio. HAX backs around 35 startups a year with an initial $250,000 each.
