Sandbox Industries is a Chicago venture firm founded in 2003 by Bob Shapiro and Nick Rosa. It connects established corporations with startups through strategic corporate funds, investing across insurance, healthcare, sustainability and food and agriculture. The firm runs the Blue Venture Funds with Blue Cross Blue Shield companies and the Cultivian Sandbox agriculture fund.
