1871 is a non-profit digital startup incubator in Chicago, founded in 2012 as the flagship project of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center. It hosts hundreds of early-stage companies and runs accelerators, industry incubators and tech-talent programmes. In 2025 the organisation announced its departure from the Merchandise Mart after financial pressures.
