Canapi Ventures is a Washington-based firm founded in 2018 by banking and venture veterans including Gene Ludwig and Chip Mahan, investing in early to growth-stage B2B software and fintech. It closed a first fund of $545m and a second of $750m, taking assets under management above $1.4bn. It is backed by the Canapi Alliance of more than 70 banks and service providers.
