AEI HorizonX was formed as Boeing's corporate venture arm in 2017 and is now managed by the private equity firm AE Industrial Partners. It invests in early-stage companies across aerospace, national security and industrial markets, with a portfolio of around 51 global investments. Its second fund targets $250m for future mobility, space, sustainability and security, with Boeing committing $50m as anchor.
