Avid Ventures is a New York early-stage venture firm founded in 2020 by Addie Lerner, formerly of General Catalyst, General Atlantic and Goldman Sachs. It manages about $165m and backs software and fintech companies across North America, Europe and Israel. It writes toehold cheques of $500,000 to $2m at seed to Series A, with follow-on capacity to $10m. Holdings include Alloy and Rapyd.
