At One Ventures is a deep-tech venture firm led by Tom Chi, a founding member of Google X. It manages around $525m across two funds and backs companies that pair disruptive technology with better unit economics and a lighter environmental footprint, what it calls upgrading the industrial economy. The firm has invested in around 35 startups, including the battery recycler Ascend Elements and the biodegradable-packaging company Cruz Foam.
