ABB Ventures is the corporate venture arm of the Swiss-Swedish engineering group ABB, founded in 2009 and formerly known as ABB Technology Ventures. It has deployed around $500m across more than 100 investments in robotics, industrial IoT, energy transition, electric mobility and distributed energy. The unit runs specialist teams covering robotics and automation, electrification and motion. Holdings have included Northvolt, Graphcore and the AI-chip company Hailo.
