01 Advisors is a San Francisco venture firm founded in 2018 by former Twitter chief executive Dick Costolo and former Twitter president Adam Bain. It backs roughly 20 companies per fund, concentrating on early and growth-stage business software and fintech, and deliberately avoids taking board seats. The firm closed a third fund of $395m in 2023, taking total capital raised across three funds past $850m.
